The SSL Channel Strip lets you select between two of SSL’s most iconic console EQ sections: the E-Series and G-Series. The E-Series EQ has an aggressive bite perfect for bringing out the crack of a snare or adding intelligibility to a lead vocal; the G-Series has a more restrained and focused character, great for carving out EQ pockets to make instruments sit more cohesively in a mix. With both the E-Series and the G-Series, you can apply liberal amounts of EQ without adding distortion to the signal, especially in the low frequencies. This means you can add a massive thump to a kick or bass while keeping things tight, clean, and focused.

Simple to use but extremely powerful, the SSL Channel Strip compressor is a Swiss Army knife dynamics processor. With its familiar Ratio, Threshold, and Release controls, dialing in the ideal compression setting is a snap.
